Orumba North commences Choose-Your-Project in Oko community

THE Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba North Local Government Area, Sir, Ogochukwu Ekwueme has performed the ground breaking ceremony of ward Choose-Your-Project in Oko community.

  The event which took place at Eke Oko Market attracted market union leaders, ward executives and other party faithful.

  Speaking during the ceremony, Sir Ogochukwu thanked the Oko Ward Two, the market union executives and the local government party leaders for their support and contribution.

  He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for giving him the opportunity to serve his people and promised to give every necessary support needed to ensure that the project is completed.

  On his part, the project manager, Engineer Ugochukwu Okafor while appreciating the Professor Chukwuma Soludo led administration for choosing Sir Ogochukwu as the local government chairman promised to execute the project according to specifications.

  In their separate remarks, the Councilor for Oko Ward Two, Mr Chukwujekwu Ezeokoye, Oko Woman leader, Dr. Edith Obionye and the Chairman, Oko Progressive Union, represented by the Vice Presiden, Pastor Sunday Anunobi, stated that the area has experienced drastic positive change since his resumption of office.

  Present at the event include: wife of former Vice President of Nigeria, Mrs Ifeoma Ekwueme, Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Orumba North Local Government Area, Mr Peter Nwagbuo and Chairman Eke Oko Park, Sir Ben Ndike.
