Buhari to commission Second Niger Bridge via Zoom tomorrow

THE official commissioning of the Second Niger Bridge in Onitsha will  hold tomorrow.

The event will be conducted by President Muhammadu Buhari via Zoom in the afternoon.

  According the Federal Ministry of Works said President    Buhari will commission the facility via Zoom.

  “Yes, at long last, Second Niger Bridge will be commissioned on May 23. The President will perform the ceremony via Zoom. Also, six other road projects will be commissioned,” the source said.

  It will be recalled that over N336 billion has been spent on the project which was partially opened during the yuletide to reduce traffic congestion on the highway.

  At the time the project was nearly completed and federal government promised to round work off before May 29 handover.
