Eulogies as Ogbuefi Orajaka goes home, Thursday

The remains of the late Ogbuefi Patrick Chidi Orajaka (Palota) Ogbuefi Iheonye Jiri Tunyere Mmadu will be laid to rest Thursday,  May 4, 2023.

   A release signed by his first son, Mr Kingsley Chukwuebuka Orajaka stated that there will be a Vigil Mass on Wednesday, by  4:00 pm at his compound in Umugama Village, Umuchu, in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, while his body will leave Visitation Hospital Mortuary to his compound, for lying in state on Thursday by 7:00 am, after which there will be Requiem Mass at Holy Name Catholic Parish, Umuchu, Diocese of Ekwulobia by 10:00 am, which will be followed by interment at his compound.

  Condolence visit continues on Friday,while there will be Outing/Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, 7th May, 2023, at Holy Name Catholic Parish, Umuchu, at 9:00 am.

  Ogbuefi Patrick Chidi Orajaka was a peaceful man, very meek and humble. Till his death, he was a practising Catholic, who  contributed immensely in his parish and diocese. As a teacher and administrator, he was also a community leader who promoted the affairs of his village, Umugama, his town Umuchu and Aguata in general.

 Left to mourn him are his wife, Mrs Hope Orajaka, many children, grandchildren and a host of relations.

 He was aged, 75.
