APGA: Oye remains national chairman – Court

DESPITE a report that went viral on social media on Friday, Chief Victor Oye has been intensified as the authentic national chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
A Federal High Court, presided over by Justice James Omotoso in Abuja, stated this in a judgment he delivered on the matter, on Tuesday evening.
Explaining that by the judgments of Federal High Court, Court of Appeal and later Supreme Court, it was clear that Oye is the only legitimate national chairman of the party, Justice Omotoso held that Edozie Njoku was a meddlesome interloper seeking to reap where he did not sow with the suit.
According to him, not only was CN Nwagwu’s action condemnable given his being as a legal practitioner, for deliberately misleading the court and for causing unnecessary confusion that wasted the judicial time of the court, Justice Omotoso said that Nwagwu failed to act as a minister in the temple of justice which was unbecoming of a legal practitioner of Nwagwu’s status.
The court, therefore, sacked Njoku who had been laying claims to APGA’s chairmanship post.
