Anambra to participate in World Student Debate, 2023

ALL is set for Anambra State’s participation in 2023World Student Debate coming up later in Malaysia.
Commissioner for Education, Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, gave the hint during a media forum in Awka.
Explaining that arrangements are being concluded to make the state’s participation grand in reflection of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo’s Midas touch in Anambra’s basic education sector, Prof. Chuma-Udeh said this will also help the state’s contingent sweep the prizes and awards at the debate.
Christened, Soludo Solution Team, Chuma-Udeh said the delegation will have no choice than to make Anambra proud in order to justify Gov. Souldo’s recalibration of the basic education sector through recent recruitment of 5,000 teachers at a go that ended era of schools without teachers, approval of scholarship scheme for over 180 indigent children from riverine areas and enrollment of out-of-school children, as well as re-introduction of history into Anambra school curriculum.
Chuma-Udeh also used the forum to unveil 10 awards brought home by Anambra teams from different competitions in the past one year, including five presidential teachers’ awards among others.
She, therefore, urged wealthy ndi Anambra and all stakeholders to continue contributing their quota to development of education in Anambra State by supporting Gov. Soludo’s public-community-private-partnership development initiatives.
