Soludo receives commendation for educational progs

THE Dean, Faculty of Education, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus, Nneka  Nnorom has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s education friendliness which has moved the sector to the next level.

In a press statement on Governor Soludo’s landmark achievements in the education sector, Prof. Nnorom noted with delight his recruitment of 5,000 teachers who have since assumed duties in schools across the state.

She commended the governor for the development of other sectors of the economy in the state and urged the citizenry to exercise patience with his administration as its development blueprint is gradually being unfolded.

The dean described the Faculty of Education in the citadel of learning as the flagship of excellence where graduate teachers are equipped with relevant entrepreneurial skills to eke out a living in the larger society.

She affirmed that her position as the dean of the faculty will anchor on staff welfare, great productivity and carrying the staff and students along.

Prof. Nnorom acknowledged the cordial relationship between the state government and the university under its hardworking Vice Chancellor, Prof. Greg. Nwakoby and hoped that the synergy will enhance the subvention given to the institution.

The dean used the forum to appreciate her husband and former state lawmaker, Chief Theo Nnorom and the people of Mbosi, including the university community for their unparalleled support towards her academic success.
