Man strangles brother to death in Abia

A man identified as Daniel Mgba, has allegedly strangled his brother, Samuel Ezein Ndi Agwu community in Abam, Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.

The incident occurred during a misunderstanding between the two brothers on Saturday.

Neigbours said the suspect has mental challenges and has been disturbing the peace of his community

Police authorities said officers were dispatched to arrest the suspect following a complaint lodged by the family.

“The man (Daniel Mgba), deranged, strangled his brother (Samuel Eze) to death.Mgba was arrested by the community and “we told them not to harm him.But before we arrived, he was lynched by a mob and his house set ablaze and unfortunately, the community lost two brothers,” he said.
