Anambra roads will be ready in record time – Soludo

ALL the newly awarded or flagged off road projects in different parts of Anambra State must be completed and ready for commissioning in record time and according to specifications.

  Gov. Chukwuma Soludo made the promise while addressing the people during an inspection visit to the 26 kilometer Ufuma-Awa-Okpeze-Ndiukwenu-Amansea Road in Orumba North Local Government Area, on Tuesday.

  Commending the contractors for their due diligence in execution of the project, Gov. Soludo directed them to ensure work is completed by December.

  According to the governor, the same directive has been given to contractors handling road construction in other areas in line with his commitment to achieving all timelines and targets in transforming Anambra State to livable and prosperous homeland before he exits office.

  Gov. Soludo also used the ceremony to call on the people of the area to come out and vote massively for all candidates of All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) in the forthcoming general elections.

  Chief of Staff to Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Ify Obinabo, Transition Committee Chairman for Orumba North, Mr. Ogochukwu Ekwueme and all APGA candidates in the general election, among others, were at the event.
