Books on Origin of Ndigbo, Replacing Faulty Ideologies for presentation in Awka

ARRANGEMENTS have been concluded for public presentation of two books, ‘The Origin of Ndigbo'(Exploring New Perspectives in Tracing the Black Jews of Africa) and Replacing Faulty Ideologies (Redefinition of the Concept of Omenani using Biblical and Theological Principles).

The books written by Rev. Canon Amobi Charles Ekweozor will be launched on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Archbishop Anikwenwa Hall, Emmaus House, Arthur Eze Avenue, Awka, Anambra State by 11:00 am. The event will have Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State as Special Guest of Honour and will be reviewed by Igwe Prof. Onuora Nwuneli and Prof. Ikechukwu Okodo, while Prof. Obiorah Okonkwo will chair the occasion.

Other dignitaries expected at the occasion are the Chief Launcher, Maxwell Mbamalu, Guest of Honour, Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene. Royal Fathers of the Day are Igwe Alfred Achebe, Obi of Onitsha and Igwe  L.O.C Agubouzu, while  Most Rev Dr Paulinus Ezeokafor, Catholic Bishop of Awka and Most Revd. Alexander Ibezim, Archbishop of Niger Province and  Bishop of Awka Diocese will grace the event as the spiritual fathers of the day. Meanwhile a three-man Books Presentation Committee made up of Comr Uzo Ekemezie,  Ralph Okoye and  led by Eze Onwuji, Tuesday,  visited the MD/CEO, Anambra Newspapers and Printing  Corporation, Sir Chuka Nnabuife at his office.

  In his opening speech,  the leader of the team, Eze Onwuji, while introducing members of the team, told the MD, that the mission of the team was to intimate him of the upcoming books presentation, authored by Rev Canon Charles Ekweozor (PHD) on February 4, 2023, with the strong support of  Igwe Dr Joel Egwuonwu, Ezeudo, Umuawulu, and High Chief Azubuike Ekweozor, (Ide Umuawlu), adding that as a stakeholder in education and a renowned author of more than five books, he must be carried along in matters of book presentation.

  In his reaction, Sir Chuka Nnabuife described the books as land mark and thought provoking, which will raise a public discuss, adding that he will enjoy the books.

  The National light boss who appreciated the author for his great efforts in producing two books at a time, thanked his sponsors and those who are working hard to let his heritage reach humanity and promised to attend the event.
