Only APGA has clear plans for Nigerian youths – Commissioner

COMMISSIONER for Youth Development in Anambra State, Patrick Aghadinuno Mba, says only the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) truly cares for youths in the country judging from the many opportunities the APGA government has given youths to develop and prosper.

  Mba, who spoke with our correspondent in Awka, explained that the APGA government under the leadership of Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has offered a tranquil atmosphere for youths in the state to explore and exploit their innate potentials in profitable ventures as evident in the One Youth, Two Skills Programme currently ongoing in Anambra State.

  Mba described the All Progressives Grand Alliance as a movement, adding that APGA has provided good governance in Anambra state and has equally been consistent with the distribution of dividends of quality leadership through Mr. Peter Obi, Chief Willie Obiano and Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

  He explained that Governor Soludo has made a categorical statement that unemployment will be a thing of the past in Anambra State, especially with the inauguration of the One Youth, Two Skills for Anambra citizens and other platforms which the governor has created to ensure that youths were adequately empowered for wealth and employment creation.

  According to the commissioner, Governor Soludo has given the Ministry of Youth Development the mandate to carry out programmes targeted at taking youths off the streets as evident in the provisions the governor made in the 2023 budget for youth development through innovations.

  He said Governor Soludo has equally made policy statements that he would raise youth millionaires through the Igbo Apprenticeship Model and  that Soludo is a youth-friendly governor and the youths are rejoicing too.

Mba was of the opinion that Governor Soludo was not concerned about indigenes alone but the entire youths resident and paying taxes in Anambra State. He also stressed that the youths are happy with what the APGA government is doing in Anambra State.
