ANPC begins new year with prayers, thanksgiving

STAFFERS of Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation (ANPC), publisher of National Light, Ka O Di Taa, SportslightXTRA and Homeland Newspapers, yesterday gathered at the corporations Events Hall to thank God for the New Year and commit the corporation and its affairs to God.

  Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ANPC,  Chuka Nnabuife,  in his remarks after the Mass,  stated that 2023 is a great year for the corporation’s workers ,  ndi Anambra and Nigeria at large.

  Sir Nnabuife emphasised the importance of starting the year with prayers, noting that it helps to create a sense of direction and assistance for the workers in discharging their duties.

  He charged the corporation’s staff to put in more effort in discharging their duties and work with peace, unity and love.

  In his homily, Rev Fr Echezona Christian Mbaukwu said that living a purposeful life will help one achieve greater things while stressing the need for Christians to imbibe the habit of praising God, discover the gifts in them and use it to help others as well as call on God in challenges and develop the attitude of praying.

  He urged National Light staff to work harder, saying that “God will bless us but we have to put work into our plans because grace builds   on nature “.
