Publish your achievements – Ohaneze youths tell past, present governors.
Past and current political leaders of South East extraditions that served in different capacities since 24 years of uninterrupted civil rule have been urged to account to ndi Igbo what they did with their positions.
Addressing the media during a press briefing in Owerri, National President of Ohaneze Youth, Igboayaka O. Igboayaka called on all Igbo politicians who have held public offices in Igbo land to publish their achievements in local and national newspapers.
The president, who lamented the rate of development in the region vowed to lead a mob action against politicians who failed to comply.
He decried the increasing rate of insecurity in the South East which he blamed mostly on politicians of South East extractions and for their failure to deliver the dividend democracy to the electorates.
The Ohaneze boss maintained that no state in the South East has ever been denied federal allocation on regular basis, stressing that government officials have not made much impact pretending as if all the problems of ndi Igbo are Fulani or President Buhari.
He noted that workers in the South East have suffered deprivation living in object poverty.
“In Imo, Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi States, pensioners are dying in dozens, even as many youths are unemployed”. He described this as deliberate social evil which must be addressed immediately.
