Ma Ngozi Ikegwuonu laid to rest in Ogbunike

THE remains of late Mrs Blessing Ngozi Ikegwuani also known as Madam B has been laid to rest in her country home Ogbunike, in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State at 68.

  Till her death, late Ikegwuani was known as a devoted Christian with fear of God, peacemaker, an industrious teacher who loved to reach out to the less privileged.

  In his sermon during the funeral service at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ogbunike, the officiating Priest, Reverend Canon Achebe describes death as inevitable to all mortals, advising Christians to repent in order to secure heaven and also thanked God for the deceased who had lived on Earth.

  The funeral attracted many in-laws, friends and well-wishers of the family including representatives of the Army Day Secondary School among others.

  In an interview, the first son of the late Ikegwuani, Emmanuel Ikegwuani described his mother as a kind woman whose generosity and humanitarian service was exceptional and also expressed his gratitude to the multitude of people that came to sympathise with his family even as he wished them journey mercies to their various destinations.

  Other children left to mourn the deceased were Adorah Akuche, Obiageli Ekenta, Daniel Ikegwuani and many other relatives.
