…Gives scholarship to four children

THE candidate of Boot Party vying to represent Orumba North in the state House of Assembly, Peter Okeke has declared his interest and passion to bring a life changing initiative in Orumba North if elected in 2023 general election.

   Okeke made this declaration during the annual Harvest and Bazaar of the Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria (CYON), at St. Michael Catholic Church, Agbiligba, Nanka, and urged them to come en masse to vote him during the election, even as he gave scholarship to four children in St. Michael Nursery and Primary School, Agaligba, Nanka.

   “I have brought out myself for better representative to secure our right in Orumba North. I want you all to vote me on 13th March, 2023. Our health sector will improve including the standard of educational system. I chose to stand with Boot Party because it is still virgin and we believe in a better tomorrow just as our slogan says, ‘Because of tomorrow’. I am happy to be a member of the party and also a flag bearer of the party”

   “Governor cannot do the work alone if we the representatives fail to assist him. We are bringing standard education to Orumba North if I am voted. We are giving scholarship to four pupils, from primary one to primary six”.

   Also speaking, the campaign Director General, Kenechukwu Uche said the scholarship is mainly for the less privileged among the pupils whose parents are not stable enough to afford their school fees.

   In his own speech, the president of CYON, Agbiligba, Nanka, Comrade Augustine Nwankwo, on behalf of the entire members of the association, thanked the donor for his humanitarian services, even as he he introduced him as the past director of social of the association and assured his commitment to convince the youths to vote him in 2023.

    Okeke was accompanied to the event  by  other members of the party such as Nesta Igwegbe, Chimezie Uchime, Ogechukwu Uchime, among others.
