Soludo’s doing well – Obiano



…Says “I run with my wife for senate”

IMMEDIATE past governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano has commended his successor, Gov. Chukwuma Soludo’s performances so far.

 The former governor made the commendation while explaining that he still has total faith in Prof Soludo’s capability through his style and commitment to general good and public service, adding that it was these track records that convinced him to believe the governor’s capability to deliver good governance to ndi Anambra in the last governorship election.

 Chief Obiano also said he is solidly behind his wife, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano’s participation in the forthcoming 2023 general election as All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA)’s candidate for Anambra North Senatorial District.

  He stated this while debunking speculations making the rounds in some quarters that the former governor is ‘querying’ some funds coming into his wife’s campaign.

  A statement issued in Awka by Obiano’s media consultant, Tony Nezianya described those peddling rumours of Obiano’s ‘doubts’ about Soludo and his wife’s campaign funds as mischief makers.

  According to the statement, Obiano has confidence that Soludo would live up to the high expectations of the people, explaining same as basis for pitching tent with Soludo’s sterling track record from outset.

  “His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, has never at any forum expressed misgivings or doubt about Mr. Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo. Nor did Obiano tell anyone or group that he was disappointed in the governor. In fact, Obiano foresaw Soludo’s sterling records and that’s why he pitched with him during campaigns for the last governorship election,” the statement reads in part.
