DEACONESS Nkiru Adaora Obidiegwu, wife of former Ihiala Local Government Area Chairman has celebrated her 50th birthday in a grand style with gratitude to God for her new age and for His continuous benevolence upon her family.
Speaking in a sermon to mark the birthday anniversary in Nnewi, the Senior Pastor, Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) Headquarters, Uru/Otolo Nnewi, Pst Bobby Daniels charged the congregation, especially married couples to always seek and apply God’s wisdom in their affairs and daily activities,
Taking his text from Proverbs Chapter 4 verse 7, he said wisdom plays a vital role in every good outstanding family or marriage. Somebody has to play the patient dog or be a fool for the purpose of peace to reign by applying wisdom as a weapon of love, attraction and demonstration.
He charged every couple to be mindful of their approach to issues so that the devil doesn’t get hold and destroy their effort of building a happy home.
“Without wisdom, relationships will crumble and lead to things falling apart in relationships and marriages. I pray that abusive and wild approaches to certain issues ignited in the home by the devil are destroyed. Henceforth, God’s wisdom will direct and guide you in every endeavour of life,” he said.
Deaconess Nkiru in her testimony, thanked God for providing, protecting and preserving, especially her husband that was recently healed to the glory of God. She was also appreciative of the wonderful and God-fearing children that God blessed her marriage of 39 years with.
“It’s all by God’s grace for making things possible for me to witness my 50th birthday. I give God the glory for His faithfulness in my life, especially towards my blissful marriage. I will continue to seek God’s continuous grace, scaling through the hurdles in life.”
In gratitude to God for his wife’s new age, Ikenna Obidiegwu appreciated God’s grace for making all things beautiful for his family. He made references to the biblical commandments of husbands taking up their responsibilities of providing and taking care of his families and charged them to have a beautiful life.
