Communities express hope as Mrs  Obiano donates to flood victims

It was moments of relief and joy as Dr.Mrs Ebele Obiano continued the flag off of her welfare project to support and provide relief materials for the flood affected victims especially those within the camps located in Anambra State.

The communities visited include lyiowa Odekbe in Ogbaru LGA with an estimate of 10,000 persons,  Bishop Crowther Schools,Onitsha, Umuleri Camp, altogether with over 8000 displaced victims. While the camps of Anaku, Igbakwu, lfite- Ogwari, Omor all located in the deep  watered areas of Ayamelum have a registered numbers of 8000 victims each.

Presenting the relief materials to the various camp officials, Chief Samuel Emeka, Coordinator, Osodieme Campaign Team, Ayamelum Local Government Counci,l while condoling with the victims expressed optimism for a better future ahead of the people despite the present challenges. He pointed out the need to vote for the right candidates who put the interest of the public at heart. 

On the same note, Women Co-ordinator, Anambra North LGA, Ijeoma Obodoeze maintained the essence of supporting the candidacy of Dr. Mrs Obiano as a representative of the people at the red chambers. She further appealed to the surviving victims to express faith in God and be fervent in prayers.

In his closing remarks, the DG, Osodieme Campaign Organisation, Chinedu Nnatuanya thanked all members of the team for their resilience and  selflessness in ensuring that the project was fruitful. He also encouraged the camp directors to remain strong in faith and embrace love and kindness as they dish out their duties.
