Love Family holds annual thanksgiving

THANKSGIVING is always a time to express joy and gratitude to God for all good things he has done and one of the ways to do that is through ‘thanksgiving harvest’.

Prosperity and how well we succeed depends on principles in which holding annual thanksgiving is a fact of it. As there can be prestige without mystery because familiarity breeds contempt and a person attracts what he/she reaps in as much as givers never lack and Almighty God is the sole giver of power to make wealth.

The assistant priest, Church of the Holy Spirit, Anglican Communion, St. Paul’s University, Awka, Rev Chris Ezeokolo stated this in a homily titled,“ Christian Concern, Care and Commitments,” in celebration of the Love Family group annual thanksgiving.

Rev. Ezeokolo urged Christians to be self-sacrificing, caring and be committed to the church as priesthood for thanksgiving and harvest. “There is no life better emulating than Christ’s example. We are better ambassadors of Christ when we manifest Christ in us.”

Speaking at the event in gratitude to God, the Chairman of the Love Family Harvest Committee Exco 2022,  Ralph Chukwulobelu said: “Today is the day slated for the Love Family to present and offer themselves before God to annually appreciate Him in thanksgiving.

“Annual thanksgiving is a time for people to come before God and in gratitude for His love and benevolence, for God is a good God. We are here to thank Him for all He has done for us within the year in review.

And we of the love family are grateful for all he has done for us in spite of all the insecurity he made it possible for us to be here today”.
