Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) wants a robust partnership with Anambra State Government to foster trade and help in the promotion of made in Nigeria products.
Chairperson, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), South East region, Lady Ada Chukwudozie made this known when she paid by a visit to Governor Chukwuma Soludo at Government House, Awka
The MAN S/E Chapter Chairperson explained that government cannot develop the state alone without a significant input and synergy with organised private sector, saying that the only way government can boost development through job and wealth creation is to provide a robust, enabling and convivial environment for manufacturers to operate.
According to Lady Chukwudozie, the purpose of the partnership with the Professor Soludo led administration in Anambra State is as result of his antecedents and experiences in the banking sector.
Lady Chukwudozie also noted that her association was desirous of aligning with the policies and programmes of the state government in ensuring that its interests were well protected.
The chairperson emphasised that manufacturers were key drivers of the economy and industrialisation, saying that they contribute to the gross domestic product of every country through the creation of wealth, trade , employment among others.
She further maintained that as the Chairperson of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, she would ensure that its vision and mandate were upheld during her tenure, hence the need to deepen relationships with all the economic actors, government as well as the general public on issues relating to manufacturers.
Earlier ,Governor Chukwuma Soludo had congratulated Lady Ada Chukwudozie for emerging the Chairman of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), South East Zone.
Governor Soludo promised to provide a friendly environment for businesses to thrive, even as he pledged a synergy with manufacturers in creation of job opportunities for the citizens.
The governor expressed confidence that with Lady Ada Chukwudozie, drawing from her wealth of knowledge, years of experience in the manufacturing industry and family orientation, he has no doubt of her delivering qualitative dividends in her new mandate
