 CUTIX Plc held its 39th Annual General Meeting to transact ordinary and special business lined up for the day as it hass stipulated to recommend and approve the Audited Accounts for the year ended, April 30th 2022, together with the Report of the Directors, Audit Committee and Independent Auditors for the 2022 Annual Report and Accounts.

  The event, held at Anaedo Social Club Hall, Otolo Nnewi, Anambra State, also had in agenda to declare dividends, re-elect director, authorise the directors to fix the remuneration of the auditors, to disclose the remuneration of managers of the compulsory in compliance with section 257 of the Companies And Allied Matters Act 2020., and the elect members of the statutory audit committee.

  Chairman, Board of Directors, Okwudili Nwosu, in his address, while appreciating the unwavering commitment and loyalty which have contributed immensely to the continued success of the company, said financial year 2022 was characterised by a very dynamic and challenging macro-economic environment brought about by the Omicron variant of the coronavirus pandemic, which had a significant impact on business globally.

  “Despite the challenging business environment and the intense competition witnessed in the industry, our company posted a good turnover with an excellent profit before tax that represents growth of about 17% and 29% respectively.”

  “Our company is adapting to the ever-changing business environment which is compounded by difficult access to foreign exchange in spite of the very high prevailing rate brought about by the devaluation of the official rate of the naira by the Central Bank of Nigeria.”

  Ambassador Nwosu, reiterated the company’s commitment to sustaining the increasing value of its assets by productivity improvement leading to higher profitability and better returns on equity.

  Founder Cutix Plc, Dr Ajulu Uzodike, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude to God for the success recorded by the company since inception and still showing promising signs of waxing strong as the years go by.” The past 39 years commitment of our company validates the results and valuation passed on our products.   Dr Uzodike maintained that the company’s  commitment to providing exclusive quality products and services that meet and satisfy all applicable needs with continual improvement in its mission to power and illuminate the world.
