Prophet Anikwe marks 25 years of ordination

…Urges ndi Igbo to uphold culture, tradition

THE founder and progenitor of International Society for Afrothesim Consciousness(Obi Ofufe Nso Ezumezu Chi Odinana Ndi Igbo), His Holiness, Prophet Dr Nwannwu Anikwe has charged ndi Igbo to always preserve their cultures and tradition.

   Prophet Anikwe made this call during the 25years commemoration and ordination day of their temple, Obi Ofufe Nso Ezumezu Chi Odinana Ndi Igbo, held at Umudim Nkwa, Umudim Nnewi.

   He stressed the need for ndi Igbo to know their origin and stop copying the western culture, adding that a lot families are expressing hardship due to the negligence of the steps they supposed to follow as ndi Igbo

  The spiritual leader highlighted that the strength of every race lies on their ability to preserve their cultures and traditions.

   Efediomimi Nnewi further differentiated tradition from diabolic activities, noting that a lot of people out of ignorance thought that all traditionalist are diabolic.

  A members of the group and the CEO, Ikega Resort from Imo State, Chief Azubuike Eziefula, , while interacting with newsmen listed some of the attributes a core member of the group must possess which includes holiness, truthfulness, kindness, adding that as God almighty is sacred ,that his worshippers must be holy to appear in his presence .

   He regretted that a lot of ndi Igbo has the misconception that preservation of Igbo cultures and tradition are evil.

  Highlights of the event were the display of official Anambra masquerade, Ajo Ofia Nnewi and other masquerade, display of cultural dances and others.
