OYO State Governor, Seyi Makinde has reassured the people of Oyo State that his administration would continue to be fair to all without marginalising any zone in policy making.
He made the pledge at the 2021 Oyo State Productivity Day to motivate and encourage civil/public servants, held in Ibadan , on Tuesday.
Makinde promised that his administration would create a new face in the state civil service, stressing the significance of civil servants in effective service delivery.
He said that his administration would continue to modernise the civil service in the state by providing the tools required to run an efficient system.
The governor, who stated that his administration would continue to give priority to the welfare of the workers to ensure optimum service delivery in the state, said that the selection of awardees for the 2021 productivity awards was based on merit.
Governor Makinde, however, urged the awardees and their colleagues to be more proactive in discharging their duties and encouraged those who were not rewarded to buckle up ahead of the next assessment.
Earlier, the Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs Ololade Agboola enjoined the state civil servants to be more dedicated to their duties and uphold the tenet of civil/public service.
