27 die as COVID-19 quarantine bus overturns on steep road in China

TWENTY-seven people were on Sunday, killed and 20 more injured as a COVID-19 quarantine bus overturned on a mountain road in China.
It was gathered that the bus was transporting Chinese citizens for isolation as part of China’s strict zero-COVID policy, leading to an outburst of anger on Chinese social media. The crash took place in China’s Southern GuizhouRegion, which accounts for the vast majority of COVID-19 cases in the country.
The bus crash quickly spiked to the number one trending topic on China’s Weibo, essentially a clone of Twitter.
