Anambra commissions community referral health centre in  Oroma Etiti, Anam

ANAMBRA State Commissioner for Health, Afam Obidike has  commissioned the renovated Community Referral Health Centre, Oroma Etiti Anam, in Anambra West Local Government Area.

  Performing the commissioning ceremony at the  hospital, renovated by Oroma Etiti Anam Progressives Forum, Dr. Obidike expressed  Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s  determination to entrench efficient and functional primary heath care centres across the state, stating that  functional primary heath care centres would help to deliver quick medical services to the people in rural communities.

  The  commissioner thanked the group for the good gesture and  urged ndi Oroma Etiti Anam to enroll into the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency for them to be receiving medical services with ease at all times.

  Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne ,  an indigene of the community urged other communities to emulate the group for the continuous development of the state and assured that the current administration in the state will continue to deliver on its mandate.

  Chairman of the forum, Mr. Sylvester Ozoemena and a member of the forum, Mr. Basil Okeke revealed that they bought hospital beds, examination beds, delivery mats, thermometer, malaria kits, blood pressure kits, among others and appealed to the state government to assist the hospital in building doctor’s quarters, more wards, acquire ambulance, among numerous other things.
