Anambra communities to receive free medical test, social amenities, others from Rotary Club

PRESIDENT of Onitsha Royal Rotary Club, Flora Chinyere Mbaeli has announced that the club would provide social amenities, free medical tests, school materials, among other items for the people of Onitsha North and South LGA of Anamba State.

 She disclosed this during her installation as the 4th President of the chapter, for the 2022-23 service year, held at G.R.A Onitsha, pointing out that the club had earlier given two wheelchairs to two physically challenged persons.

 In her words, “no fewer than 200 indigent school children will be clothed, and provided with school bags and other items, while over 10 communities in Onitsha North and South councils will be provided with social amenities.”      

 Mbaeli added that over 500 people would receive free hepatitis tests.

  “Basic amenities were given to pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers in some maternity, as well as Basic Health Centre, Court Road, Onitsha, as part of our resolve towards achieving projected tasks for the service year.
