In line with his manifesto, Prof. Soludo enumerated the plans of his administration especially the ongoing skill acquisition training under the Ministry of Youths and stressed that start-up funds will be given upon completion of the training.

He reiterated that  his administration targets to create at least 130,000 jobs per annum and create 1000 youthful millionaires every year.

According to  Ostar Eze, a poet cum award winning journalist, Anambra government has done alot to assist the youths.

The writer of the movie, ‘The Undead’ also doubles as a creative director. He said the newly elected government can do more in grooming highly skilled youths in this dispensation.

“I think we can do better as a state. We have the manpower and the resilience to achieve first world standard as a state. But it will take the resolve of our governor, Prof. Charles Soludo. We must as a people demand for the best and consciously play our role in achieving that best. “

That same year, Anambra recorded another prominent representation from its youths. This time again, it was from the academic sector. Tagged from Onitsha to Silicon Valley, five beautiful girls namely; Promise Nnalue, Jessica Osita, Nwabuaku Ossai, Adaeze Onuigbo, and Vivian Okoye  represented Africa in Silicon Valley, US, where they won the Technovation award after developing an app, FD-Detector (which could help in detecting fake malaria drugs).
