Amawbia inaugurates new women exco




PRESIDENT General of Amawbia, Godwin Aronu, has pointed out that current leadership demands people that are literate.

  He stated this during the swearing in of the new executives of the women in Amawbia, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, held at Amawbia Town Hall.

  Aronu expressed that leadership “is not an easy journey.” It will demand all your attention, time and resources, but the new exco should see it as they are doing something special for the women of their town.

  He charged the new elected exco members to see leadership as an opportunity to change lives of people they are leading, and also help to  galvanise and attract all the opportunities that the current governor, Prof Charles Soludo is giving  to the women and the community.

  The new women leader, Anagor Chinyere Ifeyinwa, expressed her gratitude to God for the gift of life, and promises to work for the development of the women of Amawbia and the whole world.

  She further explained that she was inspired to via for the position because “I have a special  passion to work and move my town forward.”

  Anagor pledged for maximum support from the women to enable her discharge her duties appropriately.
