Adeleke pledges equity in governance
OSUN State Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke has pledged his commitment to the best interest of the all the residents of the state irrespective of their political, religious beliefs and ethnic persuasion.
In his acceptance speech, Senator Adeleke said he was overwhelmed by the love and support of the people.The governor-elect praised God and saluted the courage of the electorate who were resolute in electing him into office.
He dedicated the victory to God and the people of the state.
In a related development, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded governorship election has called on his supporters to remain calm and conduct themselves within the ambit of the law.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ismail Omipidan, Governor Oyetola directed security officials to take necessary steps to prevent breakdown of law and order.
The governor maintained that stakeholders in the APC were already studying the result of the governorship election and would take appropriate steps as necessary.
