Anambra elites seek support for Obi

FORMER Chairman, Anambra State Branch of Nigeria Bar Association, Emmanuel Okechukwu (Junior) has described the presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi as the most resourceful and credible contenders in the 2023 presidential race.
Okechukwu (Junior) in press statement in Awka, urged the Nigerian electorate to vote massively for him to salvage the country from its present socio-economic and political quagmire.
The legal expert frowned at the high level of insecurity, injustices, hatred, corruption and ineptitude which characterised the nation’s body polity and expressed belief that if elected president, Mr. Obi will quench the negative trend.
For the sake of equity, he urged the All Progressives Congress Party to elect a presidential flag bearer of the South East extraction to justify the rotational presidency arrangement.
The arrangement, according to him, if done by the party and they lose the election; will portray them as two patriots in the eyes of Nigerians.
In a related development, a Christ the King College old boy, Joe Nwegwu urged Igbos in Nigeria and outside Nigeria to remain industrious and hardworking no matter the envy their pedigree has attracted for them in Nigeria.
He insisted that politically, it is the turn of the people of the South East extraction in Nigeria that should logically and by popular nationwide consensus produce the next president of Nigeria.
Chief Nwegwu described the presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party and also a CKC Old boy, Mr. Obi as the best candidate for the job and should be supported.
