Stakeholders harp on menstrual hygiene for girls

A CALL has gone to parents not to shy away from discussing sexual education with their children especially the girls as they are the most vulnerable ones.

  Deputy Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Dr Olukemi Owolabi stated this at a day workshop organised for female secondary schools pupils in  Ibadan  on Tuesday.

  The workshop on menstrual hygiene was facilitated by Radio Nigeria in collaboration with NOA and a non-governmental organisation.

  According to Dr Owolabi, the menstrual hygiene of the girl child is vital and must be discussed by parents to avoid being misinformed by outsiders.
