Agency scores Anambra Youth Ministry high on ICT

MANAGING Director of Anambra State Information and Communication Technology(ICT) Agency, Chukwuebuka Agbata has scored Ministry of Youth Development high for taking the lead on computer based service delivery as introduced by the present administration.

  The agency’s boss affirmed that the initiative being deployed under the watch of the commissioner would not only prepare the staff for task ahead but improve their individual capacity.

  Mr Agbata, who was speaking when he paid a scheduled visit to the ministry to observe the ongoing computer training programme for staff members,  expressed  satisfaction at the quality of tutorials impacted on the trainees.

  While praising the effort of the commissioner, he urged the trainees to maximise the opportunity offered to them to key into computer driven approach of the state government.

  He, then, pledged to offer technical and other support services to the ministry to boost the initiative already in progress.

   Earlier, the Commissioner for Youth Development,  Mr  Patrick Agha Mba,  appreciated him for the visit, stating that they would collaborate to deepen ICT revolution in line with international best practices.

  He used the occasion to announce that every successful trainee would be equipped with a laptop on completion of the programme to ease youths registration process in all the 21 local government areas and related activities.
