Onowu weds heartthrob
IT WAS a gathering of mighty and high profile people when family, friends and well-wishers witnessed the wedding between Chinedu Chukwujekwu from Eziaja Village Neni, and Joy Umeadibe from Umudim Amechi both in Anambra State.
The solemnisation of holy matrimony, which took place at St Michael”s Catholic Church, Neni , followed by reception at Eziaja Primary School attracted many dignitaries within and outside the state,
In a remark during the wedding, a relative to the couple, Amuluonyenaego stressed the need for the new couple to make God the anchor of their marriage so as to overcome tribulations of life.
He maintained that peace, understanding, fulfillment, love, trust are the basic tools for a successful marriage and described marriage as a union of two forgivers of imperfect beings, urging the couple to remain patient with each other.
The newly wedded couple, after the exchange of marital vows, exchange of rings as symbols of genuine love as well as signing of the marriage certificate, flanked by their parents, danced to the glory of God, and marched into the reception arena to wine and dine with their guests.
The parents of the couple, Mr Fredrick Umeadibe and Mrs Ngozika Chukwujekwu thanked God for giving them the opportunity to witness the union of their children and prayed for God’s continued guidance upon the couple.
One of the guests, Mr Ugochukwu Iwuanyanwu, CEO, Blessed Ugoo Doors, in an interview, said the groom was a hardworking and friendly person, asking them to remain best of friends to make the marriage a memorable one throughout their lives.
He further urged them to shun Intruders in their home and make prayer their priority.
Appreciating those who came to felicitate with them, the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Chukwujekwu expressed gratitude for the show of love from their guests and advised young people to do away with the fear of getting married as it can be accomplished in God.
