Akulueuno brought global business brands to Anambra – Obiano
…Tasks security agents on professionalism, dedication
GOVERNOR of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, has credited his administration’s think-home investment clarion, akulueuno, with recent influx of globally competitive business brands into the state.
Gov. Obiano stated this on Tuesday while fielding questions from newsmen during his working tour of select elite department stores doing businesses within Awka metropolis.
Explaining that the clarion convinced foreign and indigenous investors to start setting shops in the state on a massive scale, for the first time, the governor said investors heeded his call because of their faith in his business pedigree.
The governor also said investors know that, as a peerless administrative strategist, he provided adequate enabling environment and would continue to upgrade human and structural infrastructure for businesses to yield returns on investment while contributing to government’s internally generated revenue projections and playing their social responsibility role to host communities.
Therefore, Gov. Obiano called on wealthy ndi Anambra to continue investing in the state, for government has put necessary logistics in place for mutually beneficial partnership.
He also called on ndi Anambra to continue assisting government and security agencies in making their communities safe and secure for investment outfits doing business in their areas.
Outfits toured by Gov. Obiano include Stanel World, Everyday Supermarket and Radopin Supermarket where he was warmly received by owners of the respective businesses who showed the governor round their sections.
In another development, Gov. Willie Obiano has called on security agents to keep performing their duties with continuous devotion to professionalism and dedication to duty.
The governor made the call in Executive Council Chambers of Government House, Awka, shortly after decorating police officers working under his details who gained new promotions including his Aide-de-Camp (ADC), Ben Eke, who was promoted from Deputy Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police.
