Anambra commences palliative on Umueze Anam – Inoma Federal Road

ANAMBRA West Local Government administration has commenced rehabilitation of Umueze Anam-Oroma Etiti Anam-Umuenwelum-Nzam-Inoma Federal Road.

  In a speech during the flag-off,  Transition Committee Chairman, Anambra West Local Government Area, Mr Sylvester Orji-Okafor noted that the aim was to ensure safety and smooth Yuletide celebration for ndi Anambra West.

  `This is to ensure a free-flow of movement during the season, when human and vehicular traffic are usually on the increase; and ensure that our people have pleasant Yuletide celebrations,” he stressed.\

   He added that it was a deliberate effort to ensure that they were in good shape during this festive season pending when FG would accomplish what would be more permanent.

  he TC Chair thanked Gov. Willie Obiano for the yearly intervention on the road, saying that even though it was a federal road, yet the state government tried to rehabilitate the road yearly in order to offer relief  to the long-suffering people of the area.
