IT was a joyful and memorable moment as Isaac Okwuchukwu Chukwurah, staff of Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation (ANPC), publishers of National light group of newspapers and his heartthrob, Callista Chidibere, walked down the aisles to exchange their marriage vows.
The ceremony, which held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Agu-Awka, witnessed the presence of dignitaries within Awka and beyond such as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, ANPC, Sir Chuka Nnabuife among others.
Speaking during the sermon, Rev Fr. Dennis Nwabueze, said it was a good thing for a man to have a help mate, describing marriage as an institution by God guided by love, tolerance, endurance to help the marriage to grow and urged the celebrants to live in accordance to the word of God.
The chairman of the occasion, Sir Chuka Nnabuife, expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and urged the couple to pray at all times and live in peace.
In an interview, the bride, Callista Chidibere, said “ I am very happy because i am married to the love of my life while the groom, Isaac Chukwurah noted,” I feel happy, complete and fulfilled”, describing his wife as a loving and caring person, “She is all I want in a woman”.
In a related development, Nene Ayalogu, a music teacher in Gran Hermano Schools, Awka also wedded her heartthrob, Raphael Ume-Ugochukwu, who is also a music graduate from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
The mother of the bride, Mrs Iya Ayalogu while expressing her excitement, prayed that should bless the couple.
