UNIZIK holds maiden Town & Gown series

DEPARTMENT of Mass Communication, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, in partnership with  Beyond Community Care Foundation will be presenting a series entitled, ‘Town & Gown on August 19, 2021.

  The event with the theme, ‘Exploring Emerging Opportunities In Media And Communication’ is scheduled to hold at ASUU NAU Secretariat hall of the university.

  In a message co-signed by the planning Committee Chairman, Emeka Odogwu Emeka, the planning Committee Secretary, Eupraim Ezebuenyi and project adviser, Professor Chinyere Okunnna, the Town & Gown series is a maiden edition of the program which seeks to connect industry with classroom.

  Dignitaries expected at the event include, the chief host and Vice Chancellor, UNIZIK, Awka, Professor Charles Esimone,  the host and Head of Department, Professor Chinwe Uzochukwu, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor UC Nwaogwugwu, Dennis 

  Ezebuilo, Guest Lecturer,  Jika Attoh,   Guest of Honour, , Valentine Obinyem,  Chairman of the Occasion, Tony Onyima, Co-chairman, Uche Nworah, amongst others.

  The event takes off at 9:00am
