Ebonyi commends NECO for smooth exams conduct
THE Ebonyi State Government has commended the National Examination, Council (NECO) for organising Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in an atmosphere devoid of malpractice this year in Ebonyi State.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Education, Obianuju Aloh gave the commendation while supervising some schools that participated in the examination in Abakaliki metropolis.
While at PRESCO Secondary School, Abakaliki and Nnodo Secondary School, Aloh applauded the students that are participating in this year’s NECO examination for conducting themselves well, and urged them to work hard to achieve their future desire.
She noted that the state government under the leadership of Governor David Nweze Umahi had continued to give huge budgetary allocation to the education sector because of her love for education and desire to provide quality education to Ebonyians.
She advised the teenagers to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the Umahi led government in the sector to improve their lots.
The Principal of Nnodo Secondary School, Regina Nkwagu and Comprehensive Secondary School, Ugwuachara her counterpart, Regina Onunta thanked the state government for her education friendly disposition and assured the SSA that they would work assiduously to meet the needs of the students under their care.
