Joy, peace reigns in Ubuluisiuzo – Onowu Mbanaso



TRADITIONAL prime Minister of Ubuluisiuzo, Ihiala Local Governmnt Area of Anambra State, Sir A.O Mbanaso,[Onowu Ubuluisiuzo]  has expressed happiness over the successful  priestly ordination and reception of the newly ordained priest from Ubuluisiuzo, Rev.Fr. Christian Echezona Mbaukwu, as the second indigenous Catholic priest of the town.  Fr. Mbaukwu was ordained by the Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Rev Hilary Okeke, on July 10, in Nnewi, Anambra State.

  Sir Mbanaso described  the ordination as  awesome and applauded the ordination committee, particularly the chairman of the ordination committee and the Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation (ANPC), publisher of National light Newspapers, K O Di Taa and SportslightXTRA, Sir Chuka Nnabuife. “They did very well. I was the chairman of the subcommittee on events and gifts.  We all participated very well”.

  Expressing the view of the traditional institution of Ubuluisiuzo  town , he said that the land was happy with  everything that transpired in the event. On the state of affairs in the land, he said.

  “’Recently, we had a very wonderful and massive meeting of the community about what is happening in our town. I believe we are doing our best and i pray for more wisdom, knowledge and understanding for each al every indigene of Ubuluisiuzo to excel in all they do.
