Anambra to continue partnering private firms in tourism sector
ANAMBRA State will continue to partner with credible private brands for sustainable development of the tourism sector.
Anambra State Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Indigenous Artworks, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Kenneth Anierobi, gave the assurance in his office at Jerome Udoji Secretariat, Awka while speaking after signing Memorandum of Understanding with a private organisation to create a Tourist Game Board.
According to Anierobi, creating a Game Board that would promote the culture and tourist attractions of the State to enable players of the game to learn the locations of tourist facilities while enjoying the game itself which would be developed and made available to the public in no distant time.
An agent of the firm, Nonso Anyaegbu, who disclosed that the game was certainly first of its kind in Nigeria and possibly in Africa, noted that the game would showcase the history of Anambra State.
