Soludo best qualified to govern Anambra – Nwakile
THE state Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Anthony Nwakile has affirmed his confidence in Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as a political figure whom the cap best fits to succeed Governor Willie Obiano.
In a press statement on the political situation in the state, Mr. Nwakile noted that the former CBN Governor’s profile speaks for itself more than his competitors. According to him, Soludo during his tenure as the Governor of the Central Bank, revitalised the banking system, eradicating bank failures and promoting their consolidation.
As a consultant to many world organisations, Mr. Nwakile expressed confidence that Soludo will bring his experience to bear in improving the economic status of the state and addressing the issues of inequality and injustice.
The organising secretary expressed belief that if elected into office, Soludo will improve on the achievements of the incumbent Governor Obiano.
On the position of the party against the back drop of controversies trailing the party’s status as an entity, Mr. Nwakile noted that APGA’s primary in the state was transparent.
