Jacob Zuma fifteen months jail term

Former South African President, Jacob Zuma has been sentenced to fifteen months imprisonment.

  The country’s former president was found guilty of contempt over his failure to appear before an inquiry into corruption allegations against him when he was president as stated by the court.

  According to reports, Zuma’s time in office was plagued by corruption allegations, including those involving arms deal by the infamous Gupta brothers.
