Ndi Anambra in Abuja score Obiano high on devp, security

NDI Anambra in Abuja Federal Capital Territory have commended the giant strides in security and development since Gov. Willie Obiano took the reins of governance.

  Association of Anambra Youths in Abuja gave the commendation while passing a vote of confidence on Gov. Willie Obiano’s administration in the last seven years during a courtesy visit to Head of Anambra State Liaison Office in Abuja, Agatha Manafa.

According to them, the governor has in so doing recalibrated the state for even development I all sectors.

Speaking while welcoming the delegation, Manafa, explained that they were not alone in commending Gov. Obiano for turning Anambra around and coming with templates with which his successor will continue on the state’s irreversible journey to even more development.

She, therefore, advised the youth to be good ambassadors of the start, urging them to continue with associations on which they can fall back on in times  of need not only in the FCT but also wherever they find themselves.

Earlier in his speech, the leader of the group, Festus Agbazue, commended Gov. Obiano for what he is doing in the state especially the Anambra International Passenger and Cargo Airport, which he described as a landmark project that will lift the people out of poverty through the creation of direct and indirect jobs.

He said posterity would be fair to the governor for initiating a project that even generations yet unborn would benefit from.

The group said they had come to intimate the liaison officer about their youth summit coming up next month, which is aimed at engaging Anambra youths on the need to jettison all forms of thuggery and violence during the elections.
