Anambra investment template best in Nigeria – AACCIMA

THE Association of Anambra Chamber of Commerce (AACCIMA) has called on people of Anambra State to invest massively in the airport project recently test-run. 

  This is a major project developed by the present leadership of the state under Gov. Willie Obiano. 

  Members of AACCIMA made the call when they accompanied the governor to inspect the airport project at Umueri, Anambra East Local Government Area. 

  AACCIMA is a conglomeration of the three cities chambers in Anambra State — Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi. 

  The group enjoined ndi Anambra in the Diaspora to promptly rally in their investments home, as the state had mapped out massive parcels of land for investments. 

  In a speech after the inspection, the President, Onitsha Chamber of Commerce, Sir Chris Ukachukwu said the airport was a great boost to the commercial activities in the state. 

  Sir Ukachukwu, who is also Managing Director, Rex Industries Ltd., noted that the operation of the airport had the potential to expand the economy of the state, making Anambra a financially independent state. 

  “Anambra people are known for their entreprenuership; as traders, the cargo element will help them to import goods directly into the state by boosting business activities. 

  “Our businessmen in the Diaspora should be directed to the home front and all these have been made possible via the effort of Gov. Obiano,” Ukachukwu said. 

  President, Nnewi Chamber of Commerce, Prince Jude Osumuoh said the governor had translated the airport dream into reality. 

  “God used Gov. Obiano to attract a project that the business community in the state has been yearning for.”

  In his contribution, President, Awka Chamber, Pastor Stephen Nduaguba, described Gov. Obiano as God sent in the midst of difficulty. Indeed, the governor has written his name in gold.
