Economy: Nigeria will bounce back to greatness –Innoson
THE Chairman, Chief Executive Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Dr. Innocent Chukwuma (OFR) has called on Nigerian to allow God take over the affairs of the nation even as he reasoned that many nations that passed through worst situation are great today.
The vehicle manufacturer who made the call when he hosted Anambra Elders and Stakeholders Forum in Nnewi urged government at all levels to dialogue with different aggrieved groups to stem the tide of violence. He stated that there would be no meaningful development in the midst of violence and confusion.
“His words, I believe Nigeria will soon return to glory. We shall endeavour to create jobs for the youths and collaborated with government to ensure rapid development”.
He urged Anambra Elders and Stakeholders Forum to stand for the truth stressing that he is prepared to work with them provided they are faithful to their objectives.
“We are going to support your ideals to raise the living standard of the Igbo man. I always stand for the truth. You have given me the highest honour of my life. I will not fail to support you in all you are doing. I am overwhelmed by the caliber of personalities with former governor Chukwuemeka Ezeife as the national leader
Earlier the leader of the delegation, former Chief Justice of Anambra State, Hon. Justice Paul Obidigwe said Chukwuma has swiped away tears from many families through creation of employment in his manufacturing firm. He urged him to keep the flag flying as the pride of Igbo race.
In a vote of thanks, Prof. Stella Okunna observed the humility of Dr. Chukwuma who she described as unassuming gentle man who has brought glory to the state and entire Nigeria. She prayed God to bless him and give him grace to excel.
Earlier in an address Justice Alpha Ikpeama said that Anambra Elders and Stakeholders Forum was formed to unite Ndi Igbo and give sense of direction. He urged Dr. Chukwuma and all stake holders to support the forum by providing purposeful leadership role and logistics to enhance better delivery.
