Nnewi South inaugurates Sustenance of Faith in Governance
INAUGURATION of executive members of Sustenance of Faith in Governance (SOFIG) has taken place at Ochi Hotels Complex, Amichi, Nnewi South Local Government.
The occasion was attended by Anambra State Executive of SOFIG, led by the chairperson, Mrs Ngozi Ossy-Agbata, who accompanied the National President of SOFIG, Dr. K.K Ezekwelu to the event.
The SOFIG inauguration, which has taken place in other local government areas aims at showing visible and supportive norms for Evangelist Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) for the next governorship election in Anambra State come November 6, 2021.
In his address, the National President, Dr. Ezekwelu, who is also Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Media reminded the people of Nnewi South Local Government that they owe it as a duty not only to support their illustrious son from Nnewi South LGA but also be part of wide solidarity that will attract his success at November 2021 guber election.
He said that Ikukuoma Nick Ukachukwu knew all the needs and plus packages he will offer to ndị Anambra when elected, having been with them and has not been aided or financed or god-fathered but believes in his catalogue of welfarist and philanthropic gestures.
The chairman of the occasion, Chuka Sunnyside Okafor (Onodugo), a political chieftain urged attendants at Amichi not to lose sight that Nnewi South Local Government has been in the limbo over sensitive appointments, especially on top federal level and assured that Ukachukwu will use his good-nature to attract such, having been in the House of Representative many years ago from Abuja municipality. He said that Ukachukwu has every quality it takes to be at the Government House come November 6, 2021.
Evangelist Okechukwu, the co-ordinator, Nnewi South SOFIG expressed joy at the huge turnout of the Nnewi South people to demonstrate solidarity for Ukachukwu.
