Pastor Adeboye arrives Enugu after privet jet was suspended from flying

PASTOR Enoch Adeboye has arrived Enugu on a private jet after his private jet was suspended from flying.

  The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye, arrived at Akanu Ibiam International Airport on Sunday for ministers and workers meeting of the church was welcomed by the state’s governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

  Pastor Adeboye expressed his appreciation on the pleasant and hospitality of the governor.

  “On arriving the Akanu Ibiam Airport of the ancient coal city of Enugu, it was to my greatest surprise that the Governor, His Excellency Governor Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi was there to welcome me. To honour his invitation, we headed to the statehouse and then to the Crusade with my children in the Region under the Regional Headquarters of RCCG in Enugu State.

  “Due to the kindness of His Excellency we were allowed to use the Nnamdi Azikwe stadium for our crusade at no cost and without any special appeal.

  “It is my most sincere prayer that the state would continue to experience peace, prosperity and increase in all areas in the name of JESUS (Amen)”.

  The meeting is hosted by the assistant continental overseer of the southeast/Africa continent, Ndukwe Kalu.

  Deaconess Ifeoma Nwobodo and some other leaders of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in the region were also at the airport to receive Adeboye.

  Recall that a private jet belonging to Adeboye was grounded at the Lagos airport by the Nigerian government through the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

  The aircraft, Agusta Westland AW139 chopper, with registration number 5N-EAA, was suspended from flying over two weeks ago.

  The imposed suspension by NCAA was over allegation of expiration of some of its papers and spare parts.

  In a statement published by the agency, stated that it intends to conduct vital safety checks on the aircraft’s components, especially some spare parts that are due for replacement.
