Onyema Valentine takes heartthrob, Rita home
It was a joyful moment as one of the contractors of Anambra Newspaper and Printing Corporation (ANPC), publishers of National Light, Ka O Di Taa and SportLightXTRA Newspapers, Valentine Onyema walked down the isle with his heartthrob, Rita Obianuju Chukwunwike on April 5, 2021.
The traditional marriage, which took place at the late Mr. Chukwunweike Udealor’s compound at Umuduyede, Udezu village, Achalla, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, had in attendance management and staff of National Light, family, friends and well-wishers.
Congratulating the couple, the Managing Director and CEO, ANPC , Chuka Nnabuife expressed profound gratitude to God on behalf of the young couple. He advised them to love one another, while praying for them to be blessed with children and every good thing marriage brings.
Sir Nnabuife cautioned the couple not to expect no challenges in their married life for there are no rose gardens without thistles but they should overcome all their challenges with weapons of prayer. The groom, Valentine Onyema disclosed that his wife, Rita possesses some of the qualities he wanted in a woman like being kind, obedient, humble, loving, compassionate, adding that no man would see such attributes in a woman and abandon her.
Mr. Onyema expressed gratitude to friends and well wishers, especially management and staff of ANPC, who came to celebrate with them and prayed that God would lead them safely to their destinations.
The bride, Rita Chukwunwike, said she was very happy because she was getting married to the man of her dream.” My husband is God fearing, loving and humble”. She promised that she would spend the rest of her life time with Onyema without compromising anything.
Sister to the bride, Tochukwu Chukwunwike, said, “ I am happy that today is my sister’s traditional marriage. My prayer is that God will grant them a happy married life and fruits of the womb will never be found lacking in their home and they will experience happiness all the days of their lives”.
