Okwudili ties nubtial vows
IT WAS all joy as victoria Okwudili, of Onwukike, Ugwuoba in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State and Harry Ugochukwu, of Umuezeafugo Ezeawulu Nibo, in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, went to the altar to be joined in matrimony at Saint Matthew’s Anglican Church, Nibo, Anambra State.
The officiating priest, Rev Samuel Ihejiagwa, said in Christendom, marriage is a must because it was the first miracle Jesus performed in Canaan, when he turned water into wine at a marriage ceremony, adding that it was instituted by God. He quoted Gen.2 v 22, and said there must be love, tolerance, endurance in marriage. “I am seeing the marriage last till death do them part because the two are matured.
While speaking to National Light, the bride said the lord had perfected the wedding and was echoing “it is the Lords doing”.
The mother of the bride, Grace Ekwunife, also said it was the Lords doing, that it was something that looks impossible, but God has done it. He wished them a happy married life and prayed that God would sustain them with good gifts.
