… Insists on “think home philosophy”

IT WAS pomp and pageantry as Umu Idemili South Local Government Area celebrated the 25 years of the creation of the LGA.

At the event, deserving sons selected from each of the seven communities that made up the LGA that had contributed toward the development of their various communities were given awards.

A representative of the LGA at the Anambra Assembly, Chuka Ezenwunne while presenting a merit award to the chief launcher, Chairman, Chief Emeka Agbanari of Seaman Group of Companies, tasked indigenes of his constituency to emulate Agbanari by investing at home.

“Chief Agbanari is an epitome of `Think Home Philosophy’. He has invested in many of his businesses in the South East, including Idemili South at which he employed many people from the area.

“I urge our illustrious sons at home and in the Diaspora to emulate him by establishing some of their businesses at home; that is the `Akulueuno’ that Gov. Willie Obiano has been preaching about,” noted Ezenwunne.

According to Agbanari, I am overwhelmed that I am among those chosen by my people to cut the Silver Jubilee cake.

“I promise to partner the Idemili South LGA to attract more investments into the area.

“I advise youths to shun violence, shun vote buying. God has promised to bless our hand work and endeavours to make Idemili South greater,” said Agbanari.

In an address, Transition Committee Chairman, Mr Don Unachukwu said that the reason for the Silver Jubilee celebration was to thank God and Umu Idemili South LGA for ensuring that the LG was growing from strength to strength.
