Holy Ghost New Life Int’l Church marks anniversary
MEMBERS, friends and well wishers, including bishops and pastors, traditional rulers, professionals and government workers gathered to identify with Holy Ghost New Life International Church’s one year anniversary cum Women Fellowship Sunday, Ministers Ordination and Matriculation, hosted by the general overseer and founder of the church, Bishop Ozioma .F. and Rev. Happiness Ozoemena.
The celebration of triple goals, which included one year of women fellowship, dedication of church bus, the first barge ministers ordinatio matriculation and the church itself, having been in an existence one year.
The guest speaker, Bishop Barns Chinwuba from Enugu, spoke on the topic, ‘The Visioner and the Missionary”, taking his text from Proverbs 29 verse 18, maintained that where there is no vision, the people, adding that one cannot carry out a vision without commissioning the missionary because the body of Christ operates two arms which are the missionary and the administrative section.
According to him, honour comes to only those carrying Jesus just as the donkey carrying Jesus was enjoying the whole respect because it has Jesus riding on it. So, obedient and service gives right to ownership and command.
He observed that love was visible the church considering the record of achievements so far, adding that they will eventually celebrate their two years anniversary in their own permanent church building.
Speaking of Bishop Ozioma’s good relationship, chairman of the occasion, who is the Member, representing Orumba North Constituency and Deputy Majority Leader of Anambra House of Assembly, Emeka Aforka said he knew Bishop Ozioma as a reputable son of the soil in his constituency and a man of God for 29 years.
He said Bishop Ozioma was a household name in Orumba and is really called by God. “So for him to have accomplished this within one year is a result of grace of God working in his life ”.
Bishop Festus Ozioma Ozoema in his welcome address, blessed and appreciated all those that made out time to attend the event.
He thanked his members who tirelessly made the celebration a success, commending all to the blessings of God and protection.
Desmond Oseji, who was ordained as an assistant pastor said he thought he could run away and avoid not being involved but being certain that his call was of God since 2002 and later in 2016, he had to go into school of ministry to be nurtured and prepared to serve without reservation.
Also speaking, Evang. Dominic Udeogaranya, also thanked and gave all glory to God for a dream come through.
The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Nnewi North members were also present,including Pastor and Pastor Mrs Godspower Egbowusi, Rev. Emeka Joseph, Apostle Fred Nwachukwu, Rev. and Mrs Obido , Apostle Emerum Lawrence, Pastor and Mrs Augustine Dike, Bishop Ibekwe from Jos and Dr. Joe Ugwumba, amongs others.
